If you order from India, Thailand or China a few times a year, the Bhutan transportation fee on each packet adds up. DrukBees Membership is built for regular shoppers: you pay a simple plan fee, tie it to your mobile number, and get a lower per-packet charge inside Bhutan plus a few practical extras.
What membership costs
Plans are tied to your mobile number and are non-transferable:
- Yearly membership: BTN 1,500
- Half-yearly membership: BTN 1,000

The main saving: Bhutan transportation
For deliveries in Nganglam, Gelephu, Mongar, Phuentsholing, Paro and Thimphu, members pay BTN 50 per packet instead of the normal BTN 150 / 200 / 250. For all other places in Bhutan, members get a BTN 50 discount per packet from the normal Bhutan transportation cost.
That saving applies on top of how goods reach Bhutan from abroad. Typical times after the seller ships are about 7 days from India, about 10 days from Thailand (shipping BTN 650/kg) and about 21 days from China (shipping BTN 990/kg). Membership does not change those international legs; it reduces what you pay once the parcel is moving inside Bhutan.
Other member benefits
Along with the lower transportation fee, members get:
- Guaranteed pickup
- Extended warehouse holding
- COD counters
- Priority ordering
- Prepaid cards
Supported shopping routes stay the same: India to Bhutan by land, and Thailand or China to Paro by air, plus Bhutan transportation to your delivery point.
Who it is usually worth it for
Membership makes the most sense if you place several orders a year, or you often send multiple packets to the same town. One large festival order with several packets can use the BTN 50 rate in the towns listed above. Occasional one-off shoppers may be fine without it — compare how many packets you expect against the plan fee before you join.
How to use membership with Order For Me
Membership does not replace ordering. You still send product links through order.drukbees.com (or self-order to your collection address via my.drukbees.com). Use the same mobile number for membership and for My DrukBees so quotes, pickup and member rates stay linked. Confirm size, colour and quantity on every link so your quote matches what you want.
